Advocacy

Advocacy projects are unique to a specific goal - such as winning support for an environmental or social cause, engaging a community, increasing public awareness, getting legislation passed  or even winning an election. The tactics to achieve these goals may include fundraising and writing, and also rely on other activities such as grass roots community engagement, influencer communication or legislative advocacy. A few examples are below.

St. Paul Ballet

Joanne Henry worked with the executive director and their board during an organizational crisis for St. Paul Ballet to engage key stakeholders and maintain donor relationships. I also provided board training to introduce ongoing development as for each director and to increase donor referrals.
